How can I make an appointment to get tested?[1]

Via https://afspraak.testenvoortoegang.org/evenement/type, you can make a free appointment.

Can I get tested if I am not a Dutch citizen?

Yes, anyone going to an activity or event that requires a corona admission ticket can get tested through Testing for Entry. International visitors within the EU can also gain access to activities or events with an EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC). The website of CoronaCheck explains the difference between the international and the Dutch QR code.

Please note: the DCC is valid for 72 hours, and you must have a negative test result 24 hours prior to entry. If you have obtained a DCC with a negative travel test, you may be required to be retested in the Netherlands as an international visitor.

Do I need to get tested if I have already been vaccinated?*

No, that is not necessary. Since the 10th of July, you can receive a proof of vaccination after two weeks of being vaccinated with a European approved vaccine via the CoronaCheck app or via coronacheck.nl  and you will have a valid COVID Certificate.

For international travellers within the EU, a valid Digital COVID Certificate (DCC) also enables you to get access to events in the Netherlands.

By writing this, on the 28th of July, the government still hasn’t decided wheter they want to change this, so visit the website of the Dutch Government to read the decision that the government has made on this issue.

How does the proof of recovery work?

The recovery certificate proves that you recovered from corona less than six months ago. It is valid between 11 and 180 days since your infection and can be converted to a valid COVID Certificate.

Can I also get tested at a municipal health services location (GGD) to obtain a valid COVID Certificate for an activity or event?

It is impossible to gain access to an activity or event with a test result from the municipal health services (GGD). However, it is possible to gain access to an activity or event with a recovery certificate from a GGD location.

How far in advance should I get tested?

The test result is valid for 24 hours. So you must get tested within 24 hours before the start of the activity or event. You will receive your test results within two hours via an email that contains a link to retrieve your test result, so test within these 2 to 24 hours! The link in the email will lead you to your test result and a unique code. Use this code to convert your test result to a valid COVID Certificate in the form of a QR code via the CoronaCheck app or coronacheck.nl.

To minimize the risk, we recommend that you get tested as soon as possible before the activity/event because sometimes the results can take a little longer than two hours. Also, keep a close eye on your junk mail folder (spam). Did you not receive the results? Please contact the helpdesk at 088-7770809. Testing for access is not liable for late test results.

Necessary: Bring your appointment confirmation, a valid ID and face mask to your testing appointment.

My test result is positive; what now?

If your test result is positive, you will not receive a corona access card and, therefore, no access to the activity or event. Please follow the guidelines of the Rijksoverheid.

The test provider reports your result to the GGD. The GGD will call you for the source and contact investigation. You do not have to call the GGD or take an additional test yourself.

What do I need to bring to the event?

A valid corona access ticket (in the CoronaCheck app or printed from www.coronacheck.nl), your ID and an admission ticket. Ensure you also have the CoronaMelder app on your phone to reduce the risk of spreading possible infections. You also have to use your phone to fill in a health check before you enter our event terrains.

What if I get infected during an activity/event?

Participation in the activities or events for which you need a valid corona access card is at your own risk.

How can I get entrace to events if I am a non-EU Participant?

For access to events, the CoronaCheck app is the only valid requirement for entrance in the Netherlands. As a participant, derived from a non-EU country you do not have a DCC nor a Social Security number or digital ID data. Therefore, unfortunately, you also need to get tested every 24 hours in order to get access to our events. Via the following link: https://coronacheck.nl/en/print/ you can print your own QR-code after you got tested. This QR code will be scanned, just as the QR codes that will be generated in the CoronaCheck app and can therefore be used as a valid requirement for entrance.

*PLEASE NOTE: we wrote this text on the 28th of July, so this policy could have been changed. For more information, visit the website of the Dutch government or https://www.testenvoortoegang.org/bezoekers-faq
