10:45 – 15:30 Welcome to Maastricht
After you have received your INKOM wristband, your INKOM can get started! Welcome to Maastricht is your chance to get to know many organisations that Maastricht has to offer. Just wonder around and get information from all kinds of parties. You can ask them anything! After you have received all the information, you can make yourself comfortable in the lounge area. Here you can have a drink from Coffeelovers and enjoy the music of Red Bull while you get to know your group.
16:00 – 18:30 Dinner of Choice
Hungry after Welcome to Maastricht? Several student associations, sports associations, fraternities, sororities and other student organizations offer meals. Check the INKOM app to discover all available options. The price and whether a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free option is offered are mentioned as well.
19:00 – 23:00 Opening
The Opening will be the official start of INKOM 2022 and your student life! At Tapijnkazerne, the Workgroup INKOM 2022 will open INKOM 2022 with a great show and nice artists! Hitjeskanon provides the ultimate party feeling. In addition, BENR will surprise you with their hits. Last but not least, Dansado & de Feestmeester will definitely make sure to get you on your feet. All of this guarantees that your week starts off with a blast. So, make sure to come to the Opening to start your INKOM!
23:00 – 05:00 After Open Parties
After the official opening of the INKOM, different associations will open their doors for you! In the INKOM app, you can find which parties are organised and where they are located.
10:00 – 13:00 Breakfast at the Associations
Do you want to know what a student association has to offer besides parties? This morning you can ask all your questions about committees, board years and everything else a student association has to offer. All this while you start your day with a delicious breakfast. Check the INKOM app which student association organise a breakfast.
10:30 – 13:30 Meet Maastricht
Meet Maastricht is the event to explore different organisations scattered throughout the city. From discovering your personal taste in coffee to getting a tour in one of the beautiful building Maastricht has to offer. You can go with your group or by yourself. It is all up to you with who and where you want to go! All the activities and locations can be found in the INKOM app.
Note: activities can have a maximum capacity, so make sure you arrive on time.
12.30 – 17.00 SportsEvent
Are you interested in sports and do you want to know what sports Maastricht has to offer? This is the event for you! At the SportsEvent all the Student Sport Associations, UM Sports and some other parties will present themselves. You can try all these sports at the Griend. Just walk around, try some sports if you want to and buy something to drink or eat. You do not have to bring sports gear, you can also just watch all the sports and consider if you are interested in joining one of the associations. After an intensive beginning, the ‘third half’ will start at 14:30 and you can enjoy a beer at the bar.
17:00 – 21.30 Culture Carnival
What is better than to enjoy the evening with live music, dance and workshops? During Culture Carnival the Tapijnkazerne will be transformed into a cultural festival. There will be several interactive workshops, which you can join! From bucket drumming to finger painting, the possibilities are almost limitless. These workshops will be given for the first two hours of Culture Carnival. For the last two hours, you get the opportunity to enjoy various performances from dancers, music and other different cultural parties on the main podium.
Additionally there will be food provided on the event. So enjoy the food and a drink and indulge yourself in the different cultural activities that Maastricht has to offer. See you at Culture Carnival!
22.00 – 03.00 MECC Tuesday: 'The Sky Is the Limit'
The Sky is The Limit during MECC Tuesday! During this MECC party, you will first raise the roof with Fijne deuntjes. They are known for playing songs from this and the previous century, accompanied with a live trumpet player. After that, you can swing your hips on the music of Lady Bee. Then, The Boy Next Door will continue the evening with an up-tempo house DJ set. Finally, we will finish the night with Lucas & Steve; their breath-taking melodies will make sure we end the MECC Tuesday party with an explosion of energy and dance.
9:30 – 13:00 City Walk
Get to know the city of Maastricht with many of its beautiful places! Enthusiastic tour guides of Meet Maastricht and IVN Maastricht will guide you through Maastricht to make you sure that you will never get lost in your new city. Tip: enjoy a breakfast at the Stay Okay for only €6.50 before the City Walk.
11:00 – 13:00 Workout
Do you want to have an active start of your day? In the app you can find the Workouts, offered to you by UM SPORTS at the University Sports Centre (P. Debyeplein 15, 6229 HA Maastricht)! Make sure to bring a towel and a water bottle and to wear sports clothes and clean indoor sport shoes. Be aware that the changing rooms and lockers will be closed!
12:00 – 15:00 Set your own Limit
Your student life has many beautiful things, but there are also plenty of temptations challenges and social issues that you will be confronted with. For example, the rising pressure on students and more and more attention on unacceptable behaviour. There are some exciting workshops and interesting parties will be present to ask questions. Check out our online platform to see which workshops there will be given. Besides all that, you can meet YOUR new study association at our information market while enjoying our free lunch! What are you waiting for? We will see you!
15:00 – 19:30 Festival
Haven’t gotten around to going to a festival this summer? Or looking forward to another one? Enjoy The Festival during the INKOM! Tapijn will be transformed into a land of music, dancing and relaxing, so you can enjoy The Festival in the way you want to. Several student associations will present themselves through exciting activities, whereas our stage will be filled with some amazing artists, who will blow the speakers and turn the park upside down! Come and enjoy the Grote Vriendelijk Reus who will get everybody on their feet, after which Wander will bring The Festival the ultimate Student Experience! Last but not least you can enjoy a little dance with the music you like in the Silent Disco area. There are of course many possibilities to get a drink or some food. Are you ready to discover all that the Festival has to offer?
19:45 – 23.00 INKOMmedy Night
After an afternoon of dancing your feet may be tired. So why not sit down and enjoy the INKOMedy Night with your group! We are very proud to present the stand-up comedy act ‘Stranger Things Have Happened’. Stranger Things Have Happened improvises based on suggestions of the audience, so success is guaranteed.
20.00 – 23.00 Pubcrawl
The well-known pub crawl is back! Enjoy a drink in every pub and discover the vibrant pubs of Maastricht! Follow the crowd and find your favorite pub in the city. When you hand over a coupon from this INKOMmunication, you will receive a discount on drinks in the best pubs of Maastricht. Check the best routes in the INKOM app.

13.00 – 17.00 Aqualounge
Do you want to unwind from a busy INKOM by relaxing in the sun and taking a swim? Come to AquaLounge to take a refreshing swim in the swimming pools of the Geusseltbad! Enjoy the water, the sun and a drink while listening to some lounge tunes. If you are looking for more action, you can challenge your friends on the assault course on water or take a ride down the waterslide.
You can make your way to the Geusselt by bike or by public transport with bus 6 from Maastricht Central Station. Make sure to follow the suggested routing to the dressing rooms and lockers and always follow the security instructions.
15:00 – 19:30 Masters of Maastricht
Part of a Master group? Then this event is set up especially for you! All participants and mentors of a Master group (no master students in a bachelor group) are welcomed for an afternoon of focusing on the future. This is the moment to establish yourself in the working world that will follow after your masters program via several workshops. Visit the INKOM ap for an overview of the workshops. After an eventful afternoon, you can enjoy a nice dinner. This dinner is the opportunity to broaden your network by talking with the workshop hosts in an informal atmosphere. Besides that you can also get to know you fellow Master students and have an amazing start of your Master life.
16:30 – 19:30 BBQ
After this intensive start of the day, it’s time to gain some new energy at the biggest barbecue of Maastricht. At the Tapijnkazerne, the former military base, delicious and freshly prepared food will be waiting for you. All groups are divided into two shifts together with your mentors. So be sure to stick to the schedule. Your mentors can pick up your crates off food at the distribution points. With your INKOM subscription, you chose what kind of meal you would like during the BBQ. Please make sure you stick to this choice!
20:00 - 23:00 Cantus (18+)
Get ready for a unique and legendary evening! All you need during the cantus are your vocal cords, a waterproof bag for your valuables, and clothes that can get dirty.
The INKOM cantus is famous for being one of the largest in the world and is a unique student party. It is one of the highlights of the INKOM for a reason! During this evening, you will surround yourself with singing students accompanied by the Cantusband. Make sure you sing along to the songs played by the Cantusband and stay hydrated!
20.00 – 23.00 Disco Bowling & Prison Island
Olround takes bowling to the next level! In addition to playing an amazing bowling game, you can enjoy the disco light at the bowling alley at Olround. Located at the Boschstraat, you will experience bowling as you have never before! Prefer to look for the challenge? Try to escape from Prison Island, by cracking codes and solving riddles.
20.00 – 23.00 Movie Night
What is better than spending your evening with a good movie?
Prefer to relax instead of going to the cantus, younger than 18 years old or willing to get closer to finishing the whole Netflix repertoire? Sit back, order some popcorn and enjoy the movie at Pathé Maastricht. Curious? Come to the Movie Night!

Welcome to Tasty Maastricht! Maastricht knows many delicious restaurants. During this event, you can choose one of the restaurants you like to have lunch at! For €8,-, you will have a nice lunch prepared for you and a drink to go with that. You can choose from various restaurants. Check out our app for the options and enjoy your meal!
14:00 – 18:00 Activity of Choice
During the Activities of Choice different student associations, sport associations, fraternities, sororities and other student organizations present their own activity. This will give you the chance to get to know the association/fraternity/sorority of your choice. Make sure you visit the activity that appeals most to you, as you do not have to be with your entire group during this activity. Check the INKOM app for all of the available Activities of Choice.
18:00 – 23:00 Open Air Cinema & Foodtruck Festival: Meals on Wheels
Come and enjoy a movie at the Open Air Cinema! Get all in the party mood with the movie ‘Grease’ and be recharged before the closing party of INKOM 2022: Heineken Night!
Before you sit down to watch the movie, get some delicious meals at one of the foodtrucks at Meals on Wheels Foodtruck Festival! Different types of meals are served to make sure everyone finds something to their liking!
23:00 – 23:00 MECC Friday: Heineken Night
Heineken Night; the last event of this INKOM. To make sure we go out with a banger, Heineken Night will last until 05:00 am! Firstly, our DJ Contest Winner kicks the evening off with their DJ skills. After that, Mr Bermuda will continue the evening with his tropical beats. Next, Band with Benefits will perform. These young artists perform hits from world renounced DJs, but also from the 80s and other pop classics. With them, you will dance like there is no tomorrow! After that, La Fuente is there to play uplifting, energetic & smile-inducing techhouse. Last, but not least, we asked DJ Admin to raise the roof one last time for you all to finish Heineken Night in style.
